In our last post, we shared some helpful tips to get your Ford ready for winter. We want to share a few more ways you can get ready for the snowy months.

Is Your Windshield Ready?

To prevent ice from building up on your windshield as you drive, replace your current wipers with heavier winter ones. Always keep extra washer fluid and an ice scraper in your vehicle.

Are Your Tires Ready?

Bald tires have trouble gaining traction under normal conditions. Throw in snowy and icy roads, and you've got an incredibly dangerous situation. Look into some new tires, especially winter tires which are specifically engineered to handle in winter road conditions.

Are You Ready?

In case anything happens, always keep an emergency kit in your vehicle. Include extra warm clothing (boots, hat, gloves, jacket, blanket), emergency gear (flares, small shovel, kitty litter to help with traction), and emergency supplies (flashlight and batteries, car phone charger, snacks).
